A Boulder Couples Session | Colorado Wedding Photographer
White tees, blue jeans, red hair, green grass. And some serious babes against a serious sky. As long as everyone’s safe, I will always be in favor of shooting with a storm on the horizon. Can you see why?
Epic Fall Engagement Shoot | Mueller State Park
Enter September—and sometimes early October in this year’s case. For a few blissful, glorious weeks, the mountains become alight in golden hues. It’s a bit of a game, or a hunt. Where oh where will peak aspen leaf peeping be today?..
An Independence Pass Engagement | Aspen Wedding Photographer
I say this quite often but I really do love stories. They inspire me. When my clients give me a glimpse into even a little bit of their stories, I can’t help but be interested in who they are…
Spring in the Foothills, An Engagement Shoot | Denver, Colorado
So, when spring rolls around and we’re blessed with afternoon showers, I am giddy with anticipation. These rare storms in the Front Range bring the long-awaited green to the hills. And if you’re looking for engagement photos during this time, look no further than the open spaces dotting the landscape around Denver.
A Mountain Summer Engagement Shoot | Dillon, Colorado
This shoot is near and dear to my heart because it was my first time back photographing clients after the initial COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. I had been missing documenting these…
A Winter Engagement Session | Idaho Springs, Colorado
Once the snow starts falling in the Colorado mountains, it’s here to stay. When couples can embrace this season of deep snow and cold wind, magic is sure to be made. M + A didn’t let the winter temps get to them during their engagement shoot. On the contrary, they dove right in…
An Independence Pass Adventure Engagement | Aspen, Colorado
How often do you get to surround yourself with tall green grass, blue waters, AND majestic mountains? Twin Lakes, Independence Pass, and Aspen are the perfect location for an adventurous engagement shoot with a variety of beautiful backdrops all in close proximity. We had no shortage of beauty to explore this breathtaking summer evening.
An Adventure Engagement Session | Evergreen, Colorado
Alderfer/Three Sisters Park is a hidden treasure in the foothills of Colorado. Forests of aspen and pine commingle with tall grass meadow and beautiful rock stacks. I’ve been hiking in this park for years, ever since I moved to Colorado. It’s been a dream of mine to photograph a couple is this stunning place for just as long and that dream was finally realized with these two lovebirds.
A Western Colorado Anniversary Session | Crested Butte and Gunnison, Colorado
It was the perfect time to be in Crested Butte. The ridiculous amounts of snow Colorado’s mountains had received in the spring (and into the early summer) had produced a stunning array of wildflowers blooming unapologetically in the lower regions of town. We couldn’t keep ourselves from exclaiming in delight every 15 feet as we spotted more and more lupine carpeting the trails.
Why You Should Do An Engagement Shoot | Colorado Engagement Photographer
Engagement sessions, in my opinion, don’t exist solely for a pretty picture for your save-the-dates. Why should you do an engagement shoot? It’s as simple as this: to authentically document your unique and beautiful love and this season of abundant emotion.
