A Vail Nordic Center Wedding | Colorado Wedding Photographer
If you’ve spent any time living in Colorado, you know the weather in the mountains can be quite unpredictable. I’ve seen snow in July and warm December days. It’s no surprise that it can snow at the drop of a hat in early or late fall. But if the timing is juuuust right, you may see the beautiful, yellow aspens popping against the white and it is quite the sight to behold. Case in point.

A + N may have felt some trepidation when they saw the forecast for their early October wedding, but golly. It turned out to be such a beauty to photograph. They were originally meant to have their ceremony at the lovely Vail Golf and Nordic Clubhouse Wedding Island but unfortunately, the heavy snowfall cancelled those plans. Instead, the ceremony was moved to underneath the clubhouse patio, but that didn’t lessen the glory of the day.
N channeled some 90s and early 2000s bridal fashion for the day while A went with a rich, emerald green suit. They both stood out beautifully.
This day was such a treat to photograph and I’m so grateful for A + N trusting me to capture their vision. And for working it outside in that snow for some epically gorgeous photos! We love a snowy day, though it can certainly be a challenge. But these ladies absolutely shined.
