A Crow Bar Denver Engagement | Colorado Wedding Photographer
I think one of the best things you can do to set yourself up for some amazing engagement photos (besides hiring a stellar photographer) is having a ~vision~ for the shoot. Do you and your partner love hiking together? An engagement session in the mountains might be your jam. Do you love to bowl? Go to a bowling alley for your shoot! (Wait, please hire me if you do this sounds amazing). Do you have a favorite neighborhood bar and you love where you live? Stick close to home and show off who you really are!
That’s what C + G wanted for their engagement photos and I’m so ecstatic that they hired me to capture their unique vision.
We started off at Crow Bar in Berkeley, northwest of downtown Denver. It’s a funky, low-key establishment with lots of character and we had some fun in their quirky bar and game room. Next up, we ventured to the Historic Elitch Carousel Dome, which I’d honestly never even heard of before. Another funky Denver spot that was unique to C + G and their neighborhood. Their sweet pup joined us and the couple donned some Denver Nuggets gear—they’re huge fans. We took in the last bits of sunlight as it streamed through the carousel dome and I left that session with a huge smile. It was such a treat photographing such an authentic session.
