Early summer in Boulder, Colorado is a mesmerizing experience, where nature exhibits its most vivid hues. As the sun casts its warm embrace upon the region, the grass thrives, transforming the landscape into a sea of vibrant green. But it is at sunset when the magic truly unfurls. The mountains, standing tall and majestic, seem to radiate an ethereal glow as the sun dips below the horizon. As a Boulder engagement photographer, I adore any chance I get to photograph couples in these beautiful landscapes. M + R, living in Boulder, wanted photos that captured the essence of the beauty of this place and I think we achieved that goal with these engagement photos. Spring and early summer are primetime for photography in this part of the state, in my opinion. Early spring showers bring an abundance of green to the land and the meadows of the Foothills come alive. Too late in the season, and the grass is scorched from the intense sun. I love photographing Boulder engagement shoots when the grass is still holding on to that green. It creates such a beautiful sight.
