A Spring Elopement in the Foothills | Colorado Elopement Photographer
I can’t get over this elopement with M + A in the Foothills of Colorado. A traditional wedding day was their plan after they got engaged, but quickly enough they realized that just wasn’t for them. Instead, I had the privilege of helping them plan this intimate, adventurous elopement where they read letters from family, recited beautifully written vows, climbed a rock stack in their wedding attire, shotgunned a PBR and chased it with Jack Daniels, had their first dance as a married couple under the moon, and frolicked in a meadow as it got dark—all of that with only myself and an awesome videographer (Bright Birch Films) in attendance.
I met these two at their downtown Denver hotel room where they got all ready to go for the evening. Capturing a couple get ready together on their wedding/elopement day is such a treat. It’s so intimate and special.
We then traveled to Alderfer/Three Sisters in Evergreen where M + A first read letters their family had written especially for that moment. It was absolutely lovely and emotional to witness. We walked around and found the perfect spot among some rocks for their vow and ring exchange and then spent the remainder of our evening joyfully running around taking photos throughout the park. I had such an amazing time photographing this adventurous Colorado elopement and I feel so fortunate that they M + A trusted me to do so.
