Best of 2019 | My Favourite Photos of the Year

It feels cathartic finishing this post at a time like this. We’re well into the fourth month of 2020. But with the current state of the world, the current state of human connectedness, it’s therapeutic looking through my images from 2019 to see that yes, we will get to adventure together again. We will get to gather with the ones we love and celebrate life. There will be hugs and embraces and kisses and hand holding and feather-light touches again. This “best of” is a celebration of 2019. But it’s also a celebration of connection.

A thank you as always to my clients and those who allow me the honor of photographing their love and emotions. In this time where I can’t photograph you, I’m especially reminded of the joy this profession gives me. It’s a privilege to capture snapshots of you and the lights of your lives.

I also couldn’t help but feature photographs from my personal life—they are deeply some of my favourites of the year as well.
