A Ranching Family Photo Session | Denver, Colorado

I’ve been photographing this ranching family since just after their oldest was born. When I first heard from them, they mentioned wanting to take photos on their property east of Denver. I had no idea what to expect. When I arrived, I immediately felt such privilege to capture this growing family on their abundant, treasured ranch land. And here we are, three years later, having photographed in snow and sun and smoke-laden skies. I’ve seen one child grow from newborn to vibrant, wild toddler. I’ve seen the land change and also remain the same, steady and reliable. It’s an honor to photograph these seasons of a family and of a landscape.
